In DNx-1, we highlighted to superficial muscles that are safe and easy to needle. We broke down a complete clinical reasoning process in to WHO should be needled, WHAT the expected outcomes are, and HOW to expertly utilize needling in clinical practice.
DNx-2 builds on the foundation which was laid in DNx-1...

The goal of this course is NOT to instruct the abolishment of trigger points in myofascial pain syndromes, but rather, the clinical reasoning process behind the efficacy of treatment in evidence-based clinical care. Period."

Course Details
FINALLY....A Course exclusively for INNOVATORS...This course highlights "the good, the bad, and the ugly" clinical use of myofascial dry needling in clinical practice. Participants will learn the trigger point theoretical model, history of dry needling and the clinical reasoning process behind the use of dry needling in clinical practice.
Many dry needling institutes are guilty of glorifying the process rather than the outcomes with dry needling, oftentimes deferring effective treatment based on the patient’s subjective response to care and the reduction of pain. I should know; many of them taught for us at Midwest or have previously attended their courses.
In a world where the functional rehabilitation model disputes the treatment of permitting “pain as our guide”, we then treat the patient’s trigger points and determine successful treatment based on the guidance of the patient’s pain! Catch the irony?
As a reminder, in our innovative Dynamic Neuromuscular Dry Needling (DNx), you will learn

- WHAT dry needling does (and doesn’t!)
- HOW to incorporate dry needling into your private practice.
- WHEN to incorporate dry needling (via a clinical reasoning process!) and…
- WHY it matters to know “the good, the bad and the ugly” about Dry Needling
- **Attendees will leave the course with peace of mind knowing WHO should be considered an appropriate candidate for needling and how to CONFIDENTLY insert needles into a human being and to COMPETENCY do so clinically.**
DNx-1 vs DNX-2
In DNx-1, 30-35 superficial spinal and extremity muscles are thorough explored and needled over the two day weekend seminar.
In DNx-2, we spend "Friday" night of the seminar reviewing DNx-1 content and going over any clinical questions attendees may have since they've attended Dynamic Neuromuscular Dry Needling( DNx) - Foundations: Part 1.
A fan favorite of our DNx-2 program is our peripheral neuropathy, nerve entrapment and intra-muscular stimulation (IMS) lab. If you work with chronic/persistent pain conditions, this is the program that will impact your practice the most. You won't want to miss this event.
